My family is the oldest line of boot and leather goods makers in France.
Since 1705, 8 generations of excellence have handed down their precious know-how from father to son.
When my father passed away, I was a young journalist. The Dréan heritage? It was too much for me. I took to the high seas, making documentaries and reports around the world.
But the love of beautiful bags and noble gestures never left me. And neither did my dad, who used to call me “ma bibiche”.
Biche Maison Dréan was born in 2025. Bags handmade from leathers chosen for how beautifully they age: smooth calf, soft nappa, woven buffalo and vegetable-tanned leather. Bags made to be carried every day, loved for years and passed on, more beautiful with every bit of patina.

Each Bichon gets the leather that suits it best: smooth calf for the Evas, super-soft nappa for the Nappas, supple buffalo for the baskets, vegetable-tanned leather for Agnès and Bichon V, and canvas with leather details for Bibiche and Joséphine. Every piece is cut, woven and finished by hand in small batches.
Store it in its dust bag, away from direct sunlight. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid long exposure to water. The patina is part of the fun: let it happen!
